The free Business Idea Gut Check and other free resources are provided for your own use, as is. Paid digital products (such as Business Idea Comparison) are licensed for your own personal or business use, not for resale or redistribution.

Business Idea Adaptation is a protected web product: your workbook answers and any AI-generated output you choose to save are stored to your account. The AI-assisted portion of Business Idea Adaptation produces brainstorming and decision-support content based on what you enter. It is not professional advice. See the Disclaimer page for more detail on how to treat AI-generated content.

The app is a one-time purchase that gives you ongoing access to the tool for tracking your own leads, conversations, follow-ups, and sales activity. It is a tracking and organization tool. It does not send messages on your behalf, contact anyone for you, or guarantee any particular business result.

Business Launch Day VIP begins with a free consultation. Being accepted into the paid VIP intensive after that consultation is not automatic and is at our discretion. Nothing on this page or on the Business Launch Day sales page should be read as a guarantee of acceptance or of any specific outcome.

The affiliate program currently pays a 10% commission on qualifying purchases of the DBIY App only, to affiliates whose application has been reviewed and approved by us. Applying does not guarantee approval. Approved commissions are paid to the PayPal email address provided on the application, on the schedule and after the refund period described on the affiliate application page at the time you apply. We may change, pause, or end the affiliate program, or adjust its commission structure, at our discretion, with the current terms always reflected on the affiliate page itself.

Some products require creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for the activity that happens under your account. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Payments are processed by Stripe. The products described above are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions, unless a specific product page states otherwise at the time of purchase. We do not publish a general refund policy on this page; where a refund or cancellation term applies to a specific product, it will be stated on that product’s own sales page or checkout at the time of purchase.

The DBIY website, app, workbook content, and related materials are owned by DBIY and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute DBIY’s own content or software. You retain ownership of the business content you enter into the app or workbook, such as your own leads, notes, and workbook answers.

You agree not to misuse the site or app, including not attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any part of it, and not using it for any unlawful purpose.

DBIY relies on Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting. Your use of DBIY is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers.

Where DBIY products include AI-generated brainstorming or decision-support content (currently, Business Idea Adaptation), that content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying it before relying on it. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other regulated professional advice. See the Disclaimer page for more detail.

DBIY is a small, independently-operated business. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DBIY and its founder are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products, including business decisions made using any tool, workbook, or AI-generated content provided. Our total liability for any claim relating to a DBIY product is limited to the amount you actually paid for that product.

We may update these products or these terms as the business grows. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we make a material change. Continued use of the site or a product after an update means you accept the revised terms.
